The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) has introduced a modern, competency-based curriculum for **Panchakarma & Upakarma (Therapeutic Procedural Management)** – Subject Code: **AyUG-PK** – applicable from the 2021-22 batch, fully implemented from academic year 2024-25 onwards (for 5 batches or until further notice).

**Total duration & marks**: 300 hours | 300 marks  
- Theory (Lecture Hours): 100 h → 100 marks (one paper)  
- Non-Lecture Theory (NLHT): 60 h  
- Non-Lecture Practical (NLHP): 140 h  
- Practical + Viva + IA: 200 marks

**Examination**:  
Theory: 100 marks | Practical: 100 marks | Viva: 70 marks | Internal Assessment: 30 marks

**Course Vision**  
To produce safe, skilled, research-oriented, and compassionate Panchakarma physicians who integrate classical Ayurveda with Keraleeya therapies, modern technology, physiotherapy, and evidence-based practice while delivering personalized, patient-centered care.
